Even though some fan-favorite Nintendo games have been made for the Switch, there are still a lot of other games that have yet to get their chance.
Over the years, Nintendo has made a huge number of games that people love. Since Nintendo is the oldest gaming company, it was founded in 1889, and it has a huge collection of games. There are thousands of old games that Nintendo fans miss very much.
Some of these games have been updated and put on the Nintendo Switch, which is the company’s newest device. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Super Mario Galaxy, and Animal Crossing are just some of the games that have been remade, updated, or gotten sequels on the switch. Fans are still waiting for a number of classic Nintendo games to come to the Switch, though.
The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Nintendo came out with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the GameCube and Wii in 2006. The game is probably the best in the Legend of Zelda series so far, and thousands of fans have said it’s their favorite. The games got great reviews from gamers and online sources, and for many Nintendo fans, it was their first time hearing such great things about a Nintendo game.
But seventeen years later, the popular RPG still doesn’t have a remastered version or a port to the Nintendo Switch. When The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword came out on the Switch, many fans said that it should have been the well-known Twilight Princess instead. Nintendo might bring back this old game in the future, but they haven’t said anything about it yet.
Banjo-Kazooie

Since it came out in 1996, the Nintendo 64 has become an important part of the Nintendo brand. Many of Nintendo’s best-known classic games were on the system, like Super Mario 64, the first Smash Bros, The Ocarina of Time, and Banjo-Kazooie, a classic from 1998.
Rare made the game, which is about a bear and a bird named Banjo and Kazooie. The player controls both Banjo and Kazooie. Fans loved the game and thought it was great. The game is an old favorite that needs to be remade for the Switch.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

The first Paper Mario game came out in 2000. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door came out in 2004. The Thousand-Year Door is thought to be the best Paper Mario game, just like Twilight Princess is thought to be the best Zelda game. This is because of how well it was received and how much fans love it.
In 2020, Nintendo launched Paper Mario: The Origami King for the Nintendo Switch. It was another well-liked game, but old-school Nintendo fans still wanted a new version of the classic Thousand-Year Door game.
Super Princess Peach

Super Princess Peach is an old Nintendo game that will bring back memories for people who grew up with the Nintendo DS. The game is a single-player game where Princess Peach from Super Mario is the main character. When the game came out in 2005, she was the first side character to have her own game.
Even though Peach has been in more games since then, no one has said anything about a remake, sequel, or update of this classic DS game. The Nintendo community really liked this game, especially because it was for girls, so let’s hope that it will come back someday.
Nintendogs

Nintendogs has to be one of the most nostalgic and comfortable Nintendo games. In contrast to most Nintendo games, Nintendogs has only ever been offered on the Nintendo DS and its different versions. When it came out in 2005, this game was easy, quiet, and fun. Today would make gamers feel good about the past.
Cozy games have become very popular recently, and Nintendogs would not only go well with these games, but also fit in perfectly. There’s no question that gamers would love to see the soft pixel friends come back on the Switch, so hopefully Nintendo will think about this in the future.
Yoshi’s Story

Yoshi’s Story is a classic game for the Nintendo 64. The game is an adventure platformer with a side moving screen, just like Super Mario. The game came out again for the Wii and Wii-U in 2016, and fans have been hoping that the same thing will happen for the Nintendo Switch.
The game is still playable on Wii and Wii-U, but most players now only have a Switch because Wii and Wii-U are so old. Because of this, people want and need a second re-release of the popular adventure game.
Mother 3

This cute game came out in 2006 for the Game Boy Advanced. It was made by Brownie Brown and Hal Laboratory. Mother 3 is the third and most famous game in the Mother series. Slope Game is an RPG where you follow the adventures of Lucas, a boy with psychic skills, and other characters.
The game is one of the most famous ones for the Game Boy and hasn’t been updated since it came out in 2006. This well-liked game deserves a port or remake for the Switch, and its fans would love it if it got one.
Sonic Rush

Lastly, Sonic Rush is a great old game that Nintendo should remake for the Switch. This game came out in 2005 for the Nintendo DS. It was made by The Sonic Team and Dimps. The game was very famous because of how well Sonic Advanced did when it came out on the Game Boy Advanced in 2001.
There are a few Sonic games on the Switch store right now, but none of them feel quite as familiar and old-school as Sonic Rush. Sonic Rush would be a great addition to the growing list of older games that are coming back on the Nintendo Switch.
As Nintendo continues to remake, remaster, and port older games to newer platforms, gamers can only hope that some of these classics and their favorite will make a comeback on the Nintendo Switch.
